The Japanese are absolute masters of refined simplicity.  Case in point is this new project by the Japanese architectural firm Number Fives, its unique layout was inspired by the way the leaves drop in the fall.  Recognizing the space constraints of Japanese society, this new project incorporates a cluster of compact & super efficient houses, complete with a green roof design, a communal kitchen and vegetable garden inspired by the communal living lifestyle of the late 1960s and early 1970s.  This very groovy project is currently in the planning stage.
