This modernist wall block screen was developed by Erwin Hauer for the Chicago Hall at Vasar College (Poughkeepsie New York) in 1956. These blocks were made of cast stone and assembled on-site. This modern wall screen provides privacy but remains visually light and airy at the same time. As sunlight passes through the wall, it casts a subtle and delicate light into the interior space.
