Air France
Paris-Mexico Direct
Graphic Design by Serge Proust
Published in 1952
Air France's direct service to Mexico City was inaugurated on April 27, 1952. Here a Lockheed Constellation is shown flying over the Temple of the Moon in the ancient city of Teotihuacan. We will be featuring some rare vintage travel posters dating back to the period between the 1920's and 1980's. Most of them are stunning examples of beautiful graphic design. This poster will be up for auction at "rare and important travel posters" auction at Swann Auction Galleries in New York City on November 18th.
