This Bauhaus chess set is produced according to the original design. The first production of this set started in 1981. This game of chess with its clean lines is typical of timeless Bauhaus style. Josef Hartwig's chessmen, designed in 1923, have characteristically reduced forms. Cubes, cylinders and balls lead you move by move to checkmate.
